What’s The Truth You Are Overlooking?
Spoiler Alert… The truth was always within you.
Picture the moment when Obi Wan Kenobi says, “May the force be with you.”
Just like Luke Skywalker and so many other protagonists we’ve loved and admired throughout our lives, they come to discover that they always had access to what they were looking for. They are mirrors reflecting back to us, reminding us that the truth, or whatever we might be seeking, is already within us.

We have to come to terms with the fact that we’ve spent a lot of time searching externally for what was within us all along. I could not answer my bestie’s question, “What brings you joy?” by looking at the lives of others. I might enjoy seeing them joyful, but that is different from knowing what lights up my own soul.
I find it interesting that, as a recovered people-pleaser and life-of-the-party kind of girl, this grown woman enjoys solitude just as much as time with my favorite people. The 10-year-old version of me never would have guessed that!
Many of us share the desire to live more authentic, aligned, and conscious lives. That is part of our definition of what makes life “Remarkable.” Part of that work is becoming undeniably certain about the truth we are standing on. That may be a journey, but it is one that is more than worthy of taking. You will only rise so far on someone else’s truth. Their ceiling for you is far closer than any you would consciously design for yourself.
So, how do we get there, Anika? I am so glad you asked, my friend.
We begin by accepting the invitation to evaluate the ground we stand on, our foundation, our truth. When we examine what we know and what we don’t know, we begin to gain clarity about what still needs to be defined on our journey. The Truth You Already Know Masterclass

I asked participants what their greatest takeaways were, and these were two of the comments that stayed with me all week:
“Things I have been thinking about already, but tonight moved them forward.”
“The cost associated with decision and indecision.”
Something happens when you read the objective of what you’re teaching reflected back to you through the words of others. Notice that this isn’t about me. It’s about what was unlocked in the participants during the masterclass.
This is proof that the truth was already within them. The masterclass simply gave it language and permission to move forward.
We know what resonates and what doesn’t.
We explored the complexity of the word truth. With so many meanings, it’s easy to understand how we can sometimes substitute someone else’s truth for our own. It’s often present when we continue to strive harder for others than we do for ourselves. The root of that may be about performing for their benefit rather than building the lives we really want for ourselves.
We feel it when something reflects what we’ve been sensing all along, especially the things we’ve been wanting to move forward but haven’t.
