It’s Time: Leaning Into Discernment, Prayer, and Purpose in This Season
In moments of deep uncertainty, I’m inviting you to join me as we tune out the noise, listen for divine guidance, and step courageously into our purpose.
Listening Beyond the Noise
I’ve felt an urgency to share this message, especially because the world outside feels ambiguous, chaotic, and unpredictable. But I want you to hear me clearly: this moment is about your relationship with God, your connection to the Divine, and your ability to stand grounded in your truth.
In times like these, discernment becomes our greatest gift. The world around us may be swirling with distractions, fears, and opinions, but real clarity comes when we put our ear to the mouth of God, seeking sacred direction on how we are meant to move. I urge you to quiet the outside distractions, be still, and really listen to what you know to be true deep inside.
Praying With Honesty and Intention
I am not saying you shouldn’t be concerned about what’s happening. It’s natural. But the question is, what do you do with those concerns? I encourage you to take them to God. My prayer room is where I bring my worries, and it’s where I ask for the discernment I need to navigate whatever season I find myself in.
The other day, my prayer took me to First Samuel, chapter 12, where the people asked for a king when God wanted them to lean on Him directly. Even though they missed the mark, Samuel still prayed for them. That image stays with me. Samuel’s response is basically like “Who would I be if I didn’t pray for you, even if you made choices I warned against?” And so I ask you: who would you be if you didn’t pray for yourself and others, including the leaders whom you might not agree with, and neighbors who seem to have different values?
Prayer isn’t just a reaction to fear; it’s a declaration of alignment with God’s will. I pray for guidance, for the protection and wisdom of our leaders, for peace, for clarity, and for God to show us what we might not be seeing. Ask yourself: What are the concerns you need to bring into dialogue with God, and what might He reveal to you about your specific role in this season?
Seeking Discernment: What’s Behind the Puppet Show?
So much of what we see now is just that, a show. It’s easy to get stuck watching the marionettes perform and miss the hands that are actually moving the strings. God keeps reminding us to avoid being distracted by what’s on the surface. Ask for discernment to see the orchestration behind it all. Where did these plans begin? Who is moving these pieces? What is REALLY going on?
In prayer, I ask God to show me what’s really happening, so I can pray effectively. I encourage you to do the same. Don’t get lost in reaction; ask for wisdom to see below the surface, and let your prayers be guided by that divine insight.
It’s Time to Step Into the Assignment
Some of you know—you’re nodding along as you read this—because you’ve heard the call, too. Maybe you feel like that lone sprout pushing through the dirt, not sure why you’re the only one growing where you are. But let me assure you: God planted you where you are on purpose. You are meant to be a beacon, a lighthouse, a voice of truth in your community.
Don’t discount yourself or wonder why anyone should listen. God picks who God wants. God trusts you—and it’s time for you to trust yourself. Begin speaking truth, sharing what you know, and spend quiet time with God so you have the discernment to move with confidence through this season.
The Way Forward: Love Over Fear
Everything in me knows: the way we heal, the way we move through this time, is not by fighting each other but by loving each other. The adversary wants us divided, at each other’s throats, but that’s not our assignment. If we spend our energy there, we’ll end up exactly where we don’t want to be.
So I’m asking you: Where is your voice in this? What has God planted in you for such a time as this? Trust what’s inside, offer your concerns and your hopes to God, and let love and discernment lead your actions.
It’s time—time to trust, time to speak, time to align with divine purpose. May you walk forward with love, clarity, and peace wherever you are. I send you my prayers and blessings as we navigate this season together.
Peace and Blessings!

Imagine that we are sitting across from each other in a beautiful room, each holding a warm banana bread matcha, favorite latte, or a sparkling beverage. All eyes have convened on a single face, awaiting the next sentence. Lean forward as I tell you what is being said:
“The time is NOW!”
But this time, do it differently. Don’t run back to the busyness and efforting that is all too familiar. This time choose grace. You glide into this season carrying only your commitment to say “yes” to yourself (in alignment with the divine of course).
It is time to be confident in what you know and to let go of the outcome.
It is time to become increasingly clear about what you want.
It is time to invite new love, abundance, and opportunities into your life- think “effortless expansion.”
It’s time to trust that you already know. You have the answers.
What’s Inspiring Me This Week:
Cultiv8.shop and
Founder/CEO Admihara
This 16 year old clothing brand owner is cut from a different cloth, pun intended. Cultiv8 is not just a brand. It is a lux streetwear collection that just landed in a boutique in NYC! Every piece tells a story and is a part of the unique elements from visionary designer, Admihara.
Admihara in Cultiv8
Let’s be honest… I am totally biased.
He’s my son. At 14 he had a vision that God showed him and he has been building it ever since. As much as I am blown away at his discipline to build this company and brand, I am even more inspired with the way he leans into his faith. He models trusting in God, knowing who he is and is uncompromising on his vision, quality and execution.
He knows he is God’s brand as much as Cultiv8 is his.
In addition to this brand, he is the genius behind Eight Boy Designs (IG:Eightboydesigns) where he creates designs for other streetwear brands.
His latest collection includes the Sketchbook Sweats (currently sold out) which feature a picture of my dad when he was playing in the NBA. My son’s picture looks so similar to my dad as a boy. Admihara’s dreams, like my dad’s dream to play ball started in their youth. Each taking their dreams to God and standing in full faith that their dreams would be realized.
The story behind the brand is best shared by Admihara himself, but I can share this. His beautiful brand message ” I’m growing, I promise” connects deeply with the recognition that we choose to grow- learning from the experiences of yesterday and embracing the possibilities ahead. He designed the tagline and floral aesthetic while spending time with his grandmother (hi mom!) and witnessing the joy she has in gardening.
The collection below is featured in a store in NYC this summer, with the sweats arriving in July! Check out the brand @ https://cultiv8.shop/ and follow the brand on IG: Cultiv8.us. At 16, he will have his own label and unique designs featured in a retail store in one of the global fashion capitals. I am so inspired and I hope you are too.
There is no perfect age or moment to be all of who you are, there is only now.
What will you cultiv8 with your gifts?
